Message from the Chair
This was an incredible year for WoodGreen.
We are fortunate to benefit from a dedicated group of professionals who make up our Board of Directors.
The Board’s biggest achievement this year was appointing a new President & CEO. We were thrilled to announce Anne Babcock to the role as of January 1, 2015. Anne is dedicated to the vision and mission of WoodGreen and her strong track record of developing and delivering excellent solutions for our clients makes her the ideal leader to take WoodGreen into the future.
The leadership and hard work of our Board was also apparent as we worked with Anne and the senior management team to finalize our new 5-year Strategic Plan that will take the organization through to 2020.
The Board maintains a steadfast commitment to WoodGreen’s core work of bringing innovative solutions to critical social needs. The new Strategic Plan is the roadmap we will use to further evolve WoodGreen into a client centric agency and a continued leader in social innovation, using our expertise to influence and develop public policy. Our goals are ambitious, and we firmly believe they are achievable.Lastly, I would like to recognize our private donors for their support and extend my sincere thanks to WoodGreen’s 650 employees and 1,000 volunteers who work tirelessly to serve our 37,000 clients.
We look forward to continuing to work together to create a Toronto where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
