Construction underway for affordable senior housing in Leslieville

An affordable senior housing project in Toronto’s east end that has been in the works since 2014 has received a funding boost from the government of Canada.

The $7.9 million financial commitment announced last month is part of the government’s National Housing Co-Investment Fund that launched last year. The funds will contribute to a WoodGreen Community Services housing project that has already kicked off in Leslieville.
