Update to WoodGreen Child Care Families Re: Possible CUPE Strike

Dear WoodGreen Child Care families,

CUPE Education Workers have signaled that they will commence strike action as early as Monday, October 7, 2019 and this afternoon, the TDSB issued notice that all schools within the Toronto District School Board will be closed for the duration of the strike. This will have significant impact on our child care operations.

1. WoodGreen will continue to operate our child care centres located in TDSB schools on reduced hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 pm as mandated by the TDSB.
2. Unfortunately, WoodGreen’s Pape House location will close for the duration of the strike.

If you are a WoodGreen child care parent, please  refer to the October 3rd communication sent by your child care Manager for further details.
