2019-2020 Ontario Human Capital Research and Innovation Fund Recipient

WoodGreen Community Services is proud to be a recipient of the 2019-2020 Ontario Human Capital Research and Innovation Fund. Based on existing client data, WoodGreen believes that many older jobseekers, given the right skills training and supports, could successfully obtain and retain meaningful employment. As such, our proposed research project, titled Applied Research in Older Job Seeker Reskilling and Employment: Bridging Workforce Development Theory and Real-World Service Delivery, seeks to test this idea by building an evidence-based design and evaluation framework around WoodGreen’s existing Experienced Workers Project (EWP) – to create a vital conduit between research and program implementation.
