WoodGreen unveils two new vehicles thanks to generous Ontario Trillium Foundation Capital Grant

On August 23rd, WoodGreen unveiled two new vehicles that will be making a strong contribution to our Community Transportation Program, thanks to a generous $115,100 Capital Grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

WoodGreen’s Community Transportation Program provides transportation, for frail seniors, seniors with cognitive impairments and adults with disabilities, to various services including WoodGreen’s adult day programs, medical appointments, grocery shopping and seniors’ excursions. Providing this vital service increases our clients’ ability to remain living with dignity in their community, while also enhancing their overall health and well-being.

Through the generosity of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, these two new vehicles will allow WoodGreen to continue to address the needs of senior clients by providing critical access to programming that reduces isolation, increases social connectedness and helps build a vibrant city.

Thank you, Ontario Trillium Foundation!
